2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i upgrades from stock?

I just bought the new car and was wondering what the most feasible solutions for adding power to it were. Buying an STI or WRX didn’t make sense for me right now but I was planning on adding upgrades to it here and there over the years. Turbo, intake, exhaust, suspension? What’s worth it and what won’t work?

I don’t get why people say they bought a 2.5 RS/i because it didn’t make sense to pay the extra $8000 for a WRX but they want more power and are willing to spend $8000 modding it. Save up some money until you can buy a WRX/STI and just enjoy your car now for what it is. I’m not trying to be a dick and your car is a great car but if it doesn’t offer what you are after and Subaru sells just what you were looking for, you should have got that in the first place. Makes sense to me.
