VW jetta from 1.6sr to 1.8t automatic or manual?

My car is a 2002 vw jetta/bora i wanted to make an engine swap from 1.6 to a 1.8t, my car is automatic but not tiptronic what shall i do:
1. change it to manual(to be a more sporty car and withstand any turbo upgrades).
2. Drop in the tiptronic transmission.

Neither it’s cheaper just to go buy a VW with a 1.8t w a Manuel trans, Unless your doing the work yourself then go ahead with the work. It also depends on how much you like to drive and how much HP you plan on dumping into your ride. The Manuel trans are great for handling the upgrades and are “funner” to drive but the triptronic trans are good when your feeling lazy after work going home or something. Also when your getting RH Shifting is always hard LOL .
